Todd Self sparked a rally in the 8th by singling in a run after a great at-bat. We might actually win this one!

I dunno but he has a great eye apparently and knows the strike zone. If our players could see the strike zone like he does, then they would be much improved.

This was a good win. Finally, it was all working today for the Astros. I just hope we don't start another losing streak now. If you saw the reaction from Garner, the coaches, and the team, then they were reacting pretty strongly like we had just won a playoff game or something. It was pretty comical.

He is our new hero on the Astros squad.

hey, we won...must mean Everette didn't play.

Phil Garner finally reliazes that Jason Lane is another Daryle Ward, great pinch hitter but not a starter. Now I hope he benches Everett and puts in Jose Vizcanio or maybe Chris Burke who played SS in college.

I'm starting to agree with this line of thinking, but why put Vizciano in? He old and not apart of the Astros future. Burke might be a good experiment at SS though.

I like seeing Vizcaino in the lineup. I don't care if he is an older player and not considered our "future". We do better with him in the lineup. Last year when we went on our great stretch run he was playing every day and doing a fantastic job.
