Ya know, I was just about to come in here and tell you to keep your trap shut. Little did I know, that BALLHog would break an unwritten rule.
Jeez, the Cards are p*****s. First, Renteria has a pitch come inside where he barely has to move to get out of the way, and he glares at Johnson. Then Pujols, in the 7th, with a 3-2 count with a runner on first, starts b****ing after the throw came close to his head. Play the game you whiny b****es.
Why did they sit Kent against one of our biggest rivals? We've got one freaking guy producing, and Jimy decides to sit him. Great. Edit: Nevermind, just saw in the chron that he had a hip strain. Hope that injury heals quick.
sportsradio was going off on jimy williams yesterday for resting Kent..."why now...this is just silly..blah blah blah." ummmmm...why don't we get all the facts before we report and spout off?
Watching the last few games against the Cardinals I have really noticed that Biggio should not be playing CF. I love what he has done for the team but it seems they should maybe move him to another OF position. just my thoughts, talk amongst yourselves.
I come home, turn on the TV. We're up 3-1. Go to start my dinner, come back, we're down 4-3. Switch to spurs vs mavs while I eat dinner. Switch back to Stro's, we're up 7-4. Great win. Best of all, I don't have to buy lunch for my SL friend at work tomorrow.
Personally, I agree. When I heard that they were planning on sending Biggio to the outfield at the beginning of the season, I fully expected him to be in left. In my opinion, Berkman did a much better job out there last year than Biggio has so far. Glad that they won tonight. I couldn't imagine this team without Kent, he is consistently our only clutch hitter.
I'm just waiting for kidrock to come back & rehash his preseason "Jeff Kent sucks, and will always suck unless he's hitting in front of Barry Bonds" rant. The silence is deafening.
