Roy needs to try to get thru this bottom of the lineup now... as I already posted, this inning looked likte trouble before it started.
Tell that to the millions of Mets fans who literally wish they had never signed him... because they all know that he will never be the player he was in the 2004 playoffs.
Of course they are. They don't want to be accused of not being able to hiht him if he's not pitching well. Roy did a good job getting out of the inning after the two doubles.
Let's go Mets.....Let's go! Let's go Met's ....Let's go! CARLOS BELTRAN clap clap clap clap clap..........CARLOS BELTRAN......
this ump has dinner plans or something. eric gregg didn't have this big of a strike zone. but if it shuts down the cards as well and gets us out of here with a win i'll take it.
really?? i'm watching the gameday off of MLB and it has it in the 9th with Utley on...just got walked..2 outs and Abreu up..and they haven't thrown a pitch to Abreu yet. if that's true, then it's WAY behind.
More proof that the gun is off... Roy just threw a 64 mph curveball. At the slowest, his breaking ball is 68-69mph.
Abreau is up on MLB TV.....Have the Mets won? NM....Abreau Struck out ...whew...COME ON STROS....!! DD
