just browing on espns stat page and this totally jumped out at me, though not totally surprised at the jump. Right now the rockets have been averaging a 1.59 assist/to ratio which is good for an 11th place tie in the league. Last year there were second to last (28th place) at 1.22 game. Assist/to is a very telling stat and the large leap by the rockets (16spots) shows that the current team is a far smarter team on the floor. Needless to say sacramento is still leading this year

Turnover numbers Interesting Stat: TPG this year are at 13.4 compared to 15.8 last year. Also APG are up at 21.3 from 19.3 last year. I think this is what kept us in the game last night when the shots were not falling - all the TOs from Miami plus Deke going crazy on the boards. Discuss.
