    He was one of the greatest to ever play the game, but he was a better person.

    He was my dad's hero, and he was a hero to millions around the world.

    He definitely brought golf to the masses as he was THE guy once golf started being broadcast on TV. Damn good golfer, down to earth guy, the ladies loved him, and very personable. The perfect ingredients to sell on TV.
