No, what he was saying was that we classify people as 1,2,3,4,5 (pg, sg, sf, pf, c), but really there are so many guys who can play multiple positions that you often times are really playing 1,2,2,4,4 or 1,2,3,4,4 or even 4,2, 3, 4, 5 with Tmac in Detroit last season.

I think most teams start with a traditional point, guard, athletic wingman, and 2 pfs (very few teams seem to have legitimate centers).

Look at Houston, Kyle and Dragic are both combo guards, parsons has played point-forward at times, before Camby we used to play a lot of small ball with Hill as center, but really he was a 4.

A few outliers don't prove a theory, and Kenny and Vernon aren't even good examples. Kenny averaged over 6 assists for 8 years, and being a shooting guard means you shoot, not that you shoot well.

Look at the Rockets now. PG Lowry Dragic SG Lee Martin SF Bud, Parsons PF Scola Patterson C Camby Dally.

All ten of these guys fit these positions like gloves. They may play out of position occasionally, but they play best at their natural position.

The Thing with T-mac is he dosent have that much confidents when he was young. I mean when he was young he would run up and down the court not walk or Jog like he in Practice. I understand the injuries if he didnt have those terrible injuries that occured his ppg would be 15.6 as in 2008-2009. When He was with the kincks he got 9.4 PPG. I mean I was watching a Preseason game Alanta Hawks vs Bobcats. I was watching T-mac jog and walk up and down the court like he in Practice. He dont even think of scoring before passing. Jerry Stackhouse had injuries too and he is getting old or already there and he is running up the court at least giving 100%
