Apple = LeBron James.... People hate because they both don't have revolutionary updates every single year.
I'm a massive hater, what with my wife and I sporting 2 macbooks, 2 shuffles, nano, 2 classics, 2 touches, and my wife giving iPhone a spin (returned it 8 months later for Galaxy Nexus). We're an Apple household, phones aside. I still have the opinion that Apple has gone from leading the pack to lagging behind it. I'm hoping to see a larger screen iPhone drop this year (badly overdue) and the lower price point 8" iPad as well (I personally can't justify $500-$800 for a device that is mostly a large iPod Touch). I don't need "revolutionary" annual updates - but Apple's been in shuffle the deck chairs mode recently. The only impressive thing they've done, in my opinion, is the iCloud push.
I actually agree they are lagging and I'm a big apple person. I was just pointing out I notice a lot of similarities between the people who hate apple and the people who hate LeBron James. Just thought it was interesting how expectations of a company or athlete can lead to such hatred for a product or person. I am not saying you hate apple either... It's just a general statement about people who do, no one specific though.
