I've been bashing Mo since before he ever became a Rocket. When there was a poll asking whether we should sign him to a one year, no-risk exception contract, I voted no. I figured I'd rather not have a no-rebounding PF taking minutes from us for a non-contending year just so he can have his big payday elsewhere. For the most part, that's still true. However, I want to commend him on his rebounding the past couple of days. Forget for the moment the 6-game losing streak, any allegations about poor defense and whatnot. He's looking kind of respectable on the boards. They would be pretty average numbers for Charles Barkley, of course, but for Mo Taylor they've been pretty good. I was impressed mostly that they've been several games in a row with decent rebound numbers. If he can keep this level of rebounding prowess for the rest of the season, it will forgive a lot of the other problems I had with signing Mo in the first place. I'm not sure, but I think he is averaging 19 and 10 in the last seven games. I was also one of the people bashing Mo (though not that bad), but he has been coming through in the last few games. Over the last 4 games, Mo is averaging: 16.75 points, 10 rebounds, 58%, 2 assists, 1 block, 1.5 TO in 34.25 minutes DaDakota-It's obvious Fizer-Brand doesn't work as SF/PF, but do you think Fizer/Taylor would work, since Taylor is quicker, and can play away from the basket, which Brand can't do. ------------------ The Serious Police are watching. It's nice to see that Mo has been picking up his game recently. I had high hopes for him coming into this season because he has the physical ability to play like he has been recently on a consistent basis. ------------------
I think Mo is playing great. He's really improved his game. Now we need Steve and Cuttino back playing healthy. ------------------

Last year Shandon Anderson was much more effective offensively in the second half of the season. It took him some time to adjust to his new team. I expected the same from Mo Taylor. I think Mo will continue to improve his offensive game throughout the course of this season. His recent rebounding prowess is impressive (and frankly unexpected). If he continues to rebound, perhaps it will help Shandon Anderson get back on track offensively with some easy fast break baskets. PROPS TO MO! ------------------
