Starting to look for an apartment in February/March of next year somewhere in either Heights (preferably), River Oaks, or Rice Village. Looking for a one bedroom apartment of about 700 sq feet for about $1300 give or take. Just need a nice kitchen for myself at least.

    Any suggestions?

I would speculate you'd want to add $200 to the rent or bump 50-100 off the footage.

those areas are minimum $2 per square foot. sometimes $2.25-$2.50. The apartments like to jack up the prices on the small, economical ones.

I think the older apartments on Post Oak Dr. right inside the loop near San Felipe fit the bill. Wood floors, stainless steel appliances, River Oaks adjacent.

About to sign a lease at the Virage for $1600 for 700 sqft. Pretty nice place. Brand new.

Also looked at the Amli River Oaks which was really nice for about the same price.

My choicer are really limited because I need an electric car charging station. And apts in Houston don't really offer that option as of right now.
