I went to St. Mary's University in San Antonio. reallyBaked -- I don't really have a whole hell of a lot of advice. The biggest thing I'd say is don't rule out education or non-profit/religious groups. My job search was very unproductive. I'd find stuff on the net, then go to that office building. I'd apply in person, then go to every other business in that building and around the area, handing out my resume and asking for a job. I didn't do terribly -- during Spring Break, I did that for a week and really made some great progress -- no offers or anything, but I got a fair amount of positive response. After that, I think I got deluded into thinking that this would work. It didn't ever pan out too well. Now, a few days before I got on where I am now, I met with a few places that looked pretty good and were interested in me. What CAN you do? Computer-wise, what are your skills?
