One thing I have noticed about Artest in the pre-season is he often comes out and makes our first play. In the past, I have often thought that the Rockets usually come out of the gate sluggish and play catchup in the first quarter as they get into their offensive rhymth. With Artest, he almost always has a steal in the first few posessions and scores right out of the gate. Am I crazy?
I think that Ron's addition will be the best match for the Rockets. I love the flexability of our line-ups.
Tmac wasn't in the starting lineup 5/6 of the time. Adelman also mentioned that they will start to practice the entry pass to Yao techniques after the last game vs Kings. You are definitely not crazy, just looked a little too much into those preseason games.
no.. it was more like.. we would start off slow in the first... pick it up in the second.. be steady in the third.. then collapse in the fourth..
I deserve a 100 million extension, uh...i mean he does. But, to answer your question yes I/he does seem to come out and get right to it. I was at the game friday and he had 8 points in no time and was fighting for balls on the ground.
Great point to bring up. Tmac tends to "warm up" as the game goes along while Yao defers too much; so hopefully with Artest he could spark us right of the gate, whether its on defense or offense (or just flipping the opponents' bench).
In that picture of Ron is he flashing his index or middle finger?? I cant be sure. Perhaps Ron himslef might clear this up for us.
So is this Ron Artest rumor reality? Is he really on this board? That would not be the first time an actual Rockets member was a part of the community. That is kind of cool. This place has always been the best site for Rockets fans.
I would imagine since he knows about it at the very least he's checked it out. But honestly, do you people think he would have any fun talking here if everyone knew who he was? It's more fun to be anonymous. Plus some of the comments people make here are laughable to someone outside the organization, for a player they would have to be downright hilarious.
