So I have time to burn on an MMORPG. Haven't played one in a long time. Don't think I can pay for it either. Any suggestions?
The new World of Warcraft expansion comes out on Tuesday. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/llMIDqFbsnE?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/llMIDqFbsnE?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
He doesn't want to pay, therefore he should not play WOW. LOTRO is possible to play without paying, you gotta work for it though...GRIND
man up and pay for wow, it is amazing now (I got bored before but the easy dungeon finder and new features make it addicting again.) Worldofwarcraft.com is having a special where you can buy wow, wow the burning crusade and wow lich king all for 20$. You get all three for one payment of 20$.
15 Dollars a month is well worth it for World of Warcraft....don't play a free MMO they all end up sucking and lack content and appealing features.
Private servers. Especially if you are more into PVP and don't care about PVE. For PVE content, obviously subscription WOW would be superior.
Dark Age of Camelot, best PvP game ever, MMO or otherwise, but it's been around too long to pick up now, the population has dwindled. You won't find intense PvP and group tactics like this anywhere else (watch in 1080p). <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RHb2eKl-rog?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RHb2eKl-rog?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
If I was going to pay for one, I would pay for Vanguard. I've played EQ, EQ2, StarWars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, and VAnguard. Vanguard was probably my favorite except for the early days of EQ. It is a little more complicated than Word of Warcraft, and a little more adult/less cartoony. World of Warcraft is more popular, but I prefer Vanguard because it is a little more complicated and involved (there's just more to it) plus you are going to get less of the annoying gamer kids on it. I realize I'm in the minority but that's my two cents.
No way that is right. It might be the original WoW and Lich King for 20 dollars. But definitely not all three.
It was all 3. I don't know if they are still having the special sail or not. But during black friday weekend, it was 5, 5 and 10, so 20 total.
Here's a life lesson I've learned the hard way: MMORPGs are like baby dementors: They seem harmless enough, and you think you can handle them. Eventually, though, they WILL suck out your soul.
