Mathematicians please speak up. After tonite, Is there any consequence to conclude who rockets will be facing in playoff? what i see is, if both wolfs and kings win, rockets clinches no.7(regardless win/lose vs sonics), and sac clinches division title. but I am not sure about the tiebreaker between wolfs and sac if they end up with same records. if wolfs wins out the tiebreaker (hopefully not), it is pretty much set that rockets will play sac in playoff round 1?
I just want the Rocks to beat Seattle and Dallas to go into the playoffs with momentum. I don't care which team they play because there is no team that can beat us if we are playing up to our potential.
I wholeheartedly agree; this idea, currently popular on the board, that somehow the Rockets should "tank" the remaining games is a mistake. Sounds like a lot of fans have never followed a team into the playoffs. The Rockets are presently almost limping in (with the exception of the Denver game) which is a formula for an early exit.
