I thought about posting this in the Rox specific section but was just too scared of how people would react. Anyhow I am seeing he was bought out by Memphis. A 6-9 245?? (right) PF with range and attitude, and I am wondering what his value might be around the league.
That's hilarious! We don't need a chucker like that on our team. We have a hard enough time with ball movement that we sure don't need him complicating things.
I was trying to think of a team that could use him...and i couldn't come up with one. I just don't think that a PF who can spread the floor is all that rare anymore and you can always play a big 3 who's active on the boards at the 4 and it works just as well. He doesn't really have a niche in this league anymore.
If you define range as where a player shoots from only (instead of where he hits them), then Toine has range. Otherwise he's just a completely washed-up stiff with an inflated opinion of himself.
Remember back when Walker and Pierce were both taking about 8 three balls per game? Man the Celtics were terrible back then...
LOL at "attitude." Bonzi had "attitude" as well, and that didn't matter much when it was discovered he couldn't play that well anymore.
LOL this went about where I expected...and by attitude i meant it negatively...generally speaking id say a person with an attitude that used it in a positive manner just has balls... ex. Ron Artest has BALLS
Yep, and Toine's 00-01 statline (the year before they went to the ECF) was quite impressive...aside from the .413 FG% of course. 24.3 PPG 8.9 RPG 5.5 APG 1.7 SPG 81 games @ 41.9 minutes per game
Let's see...he's a chucker, doesn't rebound, doesn't play D, he's overweight, and has a bad attitude.
