    American painter Andrew Wyeth dead at 91


    I'm only posting a part of the obituary on him as his works say more about him than his obit.

    PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Artist Andrew Wyeth, who portrayed the hidden melancholy of the people and landscapes of Pennsylvania's Brandywine Valley and coastal Maine in works such as "Christina's World," died early Friday. He was 91.

    That's really the only painting I know of his. We had to study him for Academic Decathlon.

    That's a great painting. In my poetry class last year we had to create a poem inspired by the piece.
