For the record, I believe he doesn’t have any basketball-related skill to offer us we can’t get elsewhere. But, the funny thought of us signing him exclusively to piss off Cousins/Draymond is entertaining
Bynum was very talented. In fact I would even say he was dominant at times when he was healthy. However his head was never in the right place and after his knees blew out he was basically out of the league. With that said he is still only 30 years old. If he's healthy now some NBA team will give him a second chance.
lol Cape Man is going to destroy him like he destroyed KAT and based on trollholic, Cape Man isnt even that good..
You should tell your teams to sign him. We're good here. We're also fine if you make a quiet exit and never come back. No one will care. We've had much more impactful trolls than you. We've had funnier ones. We've had ones that do a better job taking a piss out of us. Trust me. Go work on your troll game somewhere else then come back with vengeance and try to destroy us. Maybe next time we'll fold like cheap suits, but this run at trolling has been a failure for you.
"Bynum was very talented." "Was" is the key word here. Dude hasn't played against competition in what, 5 years? That's an eternity, and when you have a history of bad knees on top of it? No thanks. Forget veteran minimum -- this would be a bad idea at minimum wage.
That can be useful, when they have to work to get the paycheck. Look at all the upsurges in contract years. Lots of us only have a passion for collecting our paychecks. Does that make us bad employees, or non contributors? That said...is he motivated to play, regardless of the reason? That would be an important consideration. I'm thinking a fairly low dollar contract, with maybe some incentives built in...to keep him motivated.
You can definitely be a good employee and contributor working solely for the money, but when you're competing against the most elite in the world you're going to need that hunger. I'm decent at my job, but if there were only 450 spots in the entire world for my job I can fully admit that I wouldn't hack it. You just can't rely on contract year players, they'll always be unrealized potential. Chris Paul's speech to the young kids about why they'll never beat him. They'll never outwork him because he loves to play the game and has that innate drive to get better. That's why I'm pretty sure Marquese Chriss won't last too long on this team despite his talent; it doesn't even seem like he likes basketball.
