What a shame. Reggie and Steve were just talking about how healthy he has been all season...

Talk about adding insult to injury.

They drop 5 games in a row, and now lose one of their vital pieces going in the playoffs.

Start a thread when he is not injured.

BTW, he is an ass so I cant exactly say I feel sorry for him.

Bynum has really bad knees, same with Oden.

Thankfully Yao's knees are solid, just really bad foot/ankle.

This. I think the winner comes out the East though. Bulls or the Heat.

Bynum would be a model of health if compared with Yao. At least when Bynum is injured he does not miss the whole season.

Arash Markazi, ESPN Reporter, asked a Laker staff member before the game why team wasn't worried about 5-game losing streak. "We have a healthy Bynum. We've never had that in the playoffs." ...... yikes

Didn't look that bad to me, but I'm no doctor.

Remember when Yao had a hyper extension against the Clippers?

It didn't look one bit serious at all.

while that may be true, but the look on bynum's face made it seem like it was very serious--"here we go again" kind of look.

He told Phil he was ok at halftime, for what it's worth. I don't think he will miss much time.

Look at the first 4-5 seasons of bynums career vs Yao. At this point yao was much healthier Than Bynum

Yeah, good thing he's there for all the meaningless parts and not for the playoffs. Really a great model of health.

Bynum says he is ok and that it doesn't really hurt anymore. Phil Jackson says MRI tomorrow and he thinks it's a bone bruise. I wonder who is telling the truth.
