These "change in team outlook" things you guys have been posting are bogus. Derek Anderson has not been giving us 10 pts a game, he's been giving us ZERO points a game because he hasnt played in months! So, any player who scores more than zero will be a positive "change in team outlook."

Who wants injured, disgruntled and team-quitter Anderson on their team? How about Anderson for cash, a scrub and second round picks? I really don't think we have anything to offer in Anderson. When he has been "healthy" this year, he's shot the ball poorly. But a contending team might take him as a super scrub.

at this point trading da for a 2nd pick would be a good deal. clips and bucks have high 2nd picks.

with maggette injured for the clips and bucks with kukoc who is done. da might be good cover for them heading into the playoffs.

I think we will be very lucky to get anyone that can contribute for DA. I think all we can get is either a 2nd or a trade-exemption from a team. That's probably what the Rockets want as well so they can just get out of the contract all together.

I would say we would be lucky to get anything from Baxter before the trade. We got Bogans. DA has "some" value, people.

I didn't say what I did trying to knock DA and I would have agreed with you about Baxter's trade value. But Baxter is a young guy that has played well in his sparce time on the court. He is a guy who has progressed and could progress even further.

DA's trade value weakens because of the situation IMO. He hasn't played in forever, has questions about his health and desire, and is unwanted by his current team even though they lacked depth at his position. To me, it doesn't make for a great situation of a team throwing someone worth while this way.

But, he can help a team in a playoff push and has a good contract, so who knows.

IMO, only way to get a player back for DA is to package him in a deal with another player. He has value but why would you trade anything for him if you could just wait 2 more weeks and pick him up off the waiver wire. JVG should have reactivated him and then he might have been able to get something back for him.

Donyell Marshall hasn't exactly been stellar this year. And Luke Jackson is injured IIRC. No thanks.

Yea, I'd rather they take a chance on Gooden if they could get him.

Hum? May be this trade would be better. Both players from Denver seem like JVG type players.

da+head+/no2 pick for nocioni would work

noci is good enough to be a starter. tmac moves to sg, tall sg problem solved.

If Nocioni is good enough to be a starter even if he backs up Deng why would they trade him for an old and injured DA. Head isn't starting material yet either and a 2nd round pick in a weak draft doesn't help them either.

I'm probably wrong about this, but, I don't think CD will want to trade away anyone that gets rotation minutes regularly. He'd want to keep the team relatively the same to build chemistry.

I'm guessing that Yao (duh), McGrady(duh), Alston, Wesley, Head (potential), Swift (potential), Bowen (no value), Sura (knee) are keepers. Along with Bogans because we just acquired him and JVG must like him to give him 10+ minutes a game.

I want Howard to go, not because I don't like him, it's just that i'd rather have the other players more than him. I'm sure Hayes could be going too, since he's probably got some good value. I love the guy though.

Up for trade IMO: Howard (seasoned vet.), Hayes (potential), Lampe, Barry (don't know why he's not been activated?).

Trade Howard straight up for Fortson. Then let all HE-- break loose in practice when Fortson and Lampe start whacking each other. We need to get Juwon out of here and get a mean, nasty bruiser in here that Van Gundy can whip into an enforcer.

Then send DA, Luther, and Swift to GS in exchange for TMurph and Pietrus. Resign JL3.

    Rafer-Sura-JL3
    Pietrus-DWes-Bogans-Sura
    TMac-Pietrus-Bogans-Barry-Bowen
    Yao-Deke-Lampe
    Murphy-Hayes-Fortson

Anderson and a second rounder to the Heat for Udonis Haslem.

I doubt the Heat would do that, though.

How about DA and either Barry or Deke for Arroyo + Det's #1. That would round out Detriots title roster with vets who can stretch the opponents defense while the Rockets get Det's pick (#30) for the overpriced and kinda sucky but not totally hopeless Arroyo.
