Not really, or? I hoped that Dream would agree to the latest offer, but as he didnt I'm happy for that he left Houston in a S&T. I know some say that those picks is not much compared to Dreams worth, and there is a lot of confusion about what good the trade exception will do. But it is still better than nothing, or better than Dream retiring. (I'm talking for the Rockets, not the pain of seeing him in another uniform. And when you think about it seeing him play for the dinosaurs is better than plenty of the other options out there.) Those picks could add up to something when that draft comes along. Of course those picks and whay else Rockets got that year will not add up to another high pick like the deal we got our hands on this time around, but you will never know what the situation is when it arrives and what else the management have to put into to make another good draft/deal. So what about next season without Dream? I think we would have been better with Dream than what we will be now with whoever we bring in to play C, if any. We need to sign our other FAs too. If we can do that, and get some production at C we should still be in a nice spot to nab a playoff spot. And in the long run it might work for the better to give the new guys their time now. I notice some of you want Marc Jackson - I'm not sold on him, but I will just wait and see what will happen - In CD & Rudy I trust. I will miss Dream, and I hope he does well in Toronto.
