No. that came from a Democratic Party worker in Kansas. Like him, I thought it was so bizarre because it came from a black minister. If you think I was promoting it, you are dead wrong. Had that been my intent, I would have put it on the board. Again, I apologize for my poor judgment. I said you might not get all the way through it, because it took me two tries -- kind of like watching a train wreck -- one couldn't believe there is someone on the radio with such off the wall beliefs. I honestly thought you might be interested in seeing real right wing radicalism, something no sane conservative would ever go near. But, again, I feel badly you feel that way, and I hope is that this inept explanation will assuage your anger.

I can only go by your word and if what you say is true, then I apologize for my initial reaction. But I hope you understand that reaction. If there really are people in this country who believe what was in that video, then I truly am afraid for our nation. Because make no mistake, if anything happens to Obama by the hand of one of those nutjobs, all hell will break loose in this country. You cannot imagine the wrath that will come down. So, if you are as moderate as you claim, it would be wise for you and others to repudiate those people and tap down that anger as much as you can. But like republican members of congress, it seems you are more inclined to stoke those fears rather than rebut them.
I do understand and that is why I have tried to explain. Had you been SamFisher I would have just shrugged it off. But, then again, I would never have corresponded with Sammy. For better or worse, Barack Obama is President of the United States. No rational American would wish him -- or any other American President -- harm or ill fortune despite opposition to his policies. I had just turned 17 the day before JFK was assassinated, so, yes, I do understand the turmoil and anger generated by the untimely death of a President who was hated by some because he was Catholic and a liberal at the same time. I hope this means we are friends again. At my age, I can't afford to lose any.
