this week: casey (needs to open his eyes when he sings songs like that) lee aaron mike crystal (one bad week, no big deal) siobahn really didn't like anything about siobahn's performance. apparently the judges totally disagree.. well, before she went, i thought Mike would be out. So I'll say Mike and Siobahn are the bottom 2.
^^ I pretty much agree with you on all points. I think the best was Casey. I will actually use the word amazing. What was he thinking the previous weeks that made him give us a snooze fest? It was soooo good!! Lee did a great rendition of that played out song! He made it sound current too. I said this last week that Aaron can become a good country singer a la Rascal Flatts. He'll be the Justin Bieber of country haha. Its so weird how i agreed with kara's critique to him. The song was believable and he actually looked very mature singing tonight. Crystal was ok this week. No biggie though...its wasn't bad or anything, it just wasn't a wow performance. She's not in trouble though. Mike has such a good tone to his voice but we're past the 90's ballads. What more has he to offer? If he would have stuck with the Hootie gig like in the beginning, i think I would have liked him a lot more. Siobhan. I think the judges were pretending to be nice since they have been really bashing her these past few weeks. I don't think that song was good AT ALL! and the pitch problems at the end while doing the shrieking was just horrible! Bottom 3: Siobhan, Big Mike and possibly crystal or aaron. Going home? Big Mike.
glad the viewers got the bottom 1 right. but not the 2nd to bottom.. though casey being almost out when he shouldn't have been probably means he's safe next week as long as he's not horrible
The show is rigged. Siobhan has a large fanbase who was never in the bottom 3 suddenly got voted off. From what I've heard they block her lines and her regular fans couldn't get this through for 2 hrs. This is the type of show that isn't hard to rig.
she had a horrible week. plus she hasn't been "really good" in a while.. and she had been getting old with the general viewers over the past number of weeks. i agree that it's probably not hard to rig. But I could easily believe this week was NOT rigged.

i didn't watch it last night. im kinda glad I didn't cause i heard it was BORRRRINNNGGGG I'm so over this season. I'll watch for the sake of just watching, but these kids are dull dull dull. Anoop's album just came out. he'll always be my favorite haha
yep. And apparently everyone in America knows it. Last night's was the lowest rated Idol since summer 2002!
They lost a lot of fans after Siobhan left. Now it's a bunch of guitar heroes with mediocre voice fighting it out.
Fangirls strike again. Man that was terrible all over. That Siobhan girl is hot. The only redeeming thing were the Bee Gees and Daryl Hall & John Oates. I'm amazed that at 63 yrs old Daryl Hall's voice is almost exactly like back in the 80s.
Admittedly, I've never watched much Idol until this season, but from what I've seen, Bowersox had the best combination of talents. Meaning, vocals, song writing, and broad appeal. I think she'll have the best career out any one previously on the show.
was a great show tonight. it's amazing how the show has gone from being looked down upon by established singers to nobody in their right mind turning them down if asked to appear.
