This guy is Duncan already. When I asked in an earlier post if you would chose a Hakeem (prime) over Lewis, most said Hakeem.

Amare=palms ball, like shaq, vertical 36 inch like Carter, angry and shouts like garnett,is a volital monster.I have looked at the standings. The bottom teams(warriors, bulls, denver, grizzles) are so bad, even if the rox lose on purpose,I dont think these teams will win 4 games to pass us up.So even if we go 3-20,we will still only have 5th pick.Damn it.When your so close to nabbing a future Duncan, with your pick,I might literally say its just not meant to be.I think gettng steve, cat and eddie all three were miracles.Cat went 41st.Nets are over crowded.Vancouver had Bibby. So ,since we come this far,we have nailed 3 potential allstars without getting lower than 13th pick, then maybe we can pull off another miracle this summer. You think I like Rice, now Im on the Amare bandwagon.Oh,yea,we need more young guys.Amare doesnt need the 3 year growth period.Three things need to happen,
    1.we get lucky top 3
2.rudy finally says he'll draft a high schooler
    3. we dont get conservative and trade it for a non defense, slow lewis

That's funny, I've been to NBA.com, and don't see an "Amare Stoudomire" let alone an Amare Stoudomire averaging 25 points, 13 boards, and 2.5 blocks per game

    AMARE STOUDAMIRE UPDATE
    By Vincent Baldwin

HOW'S THIS FOR A STAT LINE.

6'10 Center Amare Stoudamire, the Nations #1 Senior, had an awesome night as he led his Cypress Creek (FL) team to an 82-58 victory over Gateway.

Amare had 46 pts, 21 rebs, 11 blocked shots, and 10 dunks in the contest.

Thanks to DHayes for the update on Amare

He sounds like Damon Stoudamire's lost twin brother, only like the Arnold Schwarzanegger/Danny Devito type twin brothers in Twins.
