I'll record with you Fatty. You just got to set up the studio time. Just tell me when and where and I will be there.
Sorry for the late reply. It's been busy. Chance; I've very little left from my recordings. I'm trying to start from scratch. This was, once again, mainly to see if anyone was looking for possible singers, or who would mind me doing some sort of open jam. In fact, an open jam with someone recording would probably be the best start. RMTex; Appreciate the offer, man. How much do studios typically rent for these days? When I did it before, it was around $100 an hour. I've also got a friend that says he has a studio, and has been bugging me about it, but I have no real idea how large/elaborate it is? Are there any specs I should ask him about? To everyone else, hey! I know this is a shot in the dark, but stranger things have happened.
$100 an hour sounds right to me. Ask your friend what kind of gear he has and the size of the recording space. See if he has a seperate vocal booth.
You have me curious now. Either your friend is drunk and wants to sex you up or you might have a legit voice. Why don't you sing that song you wrote in 95 in acappella and post it?
I've known this girl for 10 years, off and on. Pretty sure that's not it. Where exactly would I go to sing a song acapella and post it?
I meant to type "a cappella" - without instrument. I guess a poor mans recording would be to use the microphone on your pc, if you have it. There is music software out there where you might be able to clean it up and add some reverb or other effects. You can post it on any number of places on the internet.
