OK, the reason I bring this up is that I always have allergy problems around this time of year, but this is the worst I've ever had. It started on Friday, after I returned from Northeast Texas. Friday, typical nastiness. Saturday, still pretty bad, a lot more nasal itching, etc. Sunday, didn't seem too bad, thought it was going away, And then the hell started. Monday, was completely bed-ridden until around 3:30. Finally started feeling better, drank lot's of milk, and pretty much just took it easy. Tuesday, SAME DAMN THING! Sore over every part of my body, and was still stuck in bed until nearly 5:00! This has got to be the worst allergy season I can remember in a long time, if not ever! Anyway, just a warning to those who also experience them, this season is going to be a b****!
All the smoke from Central America might have alot to do with your allergies. My wife has allergies out the ying yang and is having a hard time right now being outside because of it.
I've been going through some horrible **** the last month. The doctors say it has to do with allergies, and I hope they're right, because it sounds like a neurological condition to me. First it started with my eyes always being bloodshot, and I seem to have one pupil larger than the other in certain light. I'm not sure if I've always had that trait, or if I've jot gotten it. So, after freaking out about that for a week, I started feeling a tingling sensation periodically in my fingers and feet, as well as my face. I've also had pain behind the eyes. Then the dizziness started. Not the spinning kind, but the kind that feels like you're on a floating platform. I haven't felt so secure on my feet. Now, after a month, I have a sinus infection. I suppose the allergies could have affected my sinuses, which then affected the inner ear, causing the dizziness. Now I feel like I have a horrible cold. I also get extreme pressure in the head whenever I bend over. Freaky. I'm seeing a neurologist next Tuesday. Hopefully it isn't a tumor.
About a week and a half ago I really got wacked with allergies. I thought I was coming down with a cold. After about 3 days of misery that didn't turn into a cold I'm thinking bronchitis. Now I realize that it's an inhuman allergy attack from Hell. Cleaning my garage during all of this didn't help (I had to find some important papers that found their way out there, so I cleaned most of it while searching... huge amounts of dust ). I live in Austin, btw. This is a bad year, or at least a bad spring, although the typical Austin winter allergies weren't so bad for me this time. I may still end up with the bronchitis, but I have my fingers crossed. God, I just read your post, codell, and now I know why Austin has looked so smoggy and why I'm having such a bad time. I think your right!
I dont have allergies, but i have a ear infection, and i just had one like a couple months ago, this one isnt nearly as bad though, but who knows what will happen in the middle of the night.
ahhhh, each morning after i wake up it takes a good 30 mins to an hour before i can breathe correctly. i will have sneezing fits where ill sneeze 10 times in a row and i have headaches all day. seems though when im outside, i dont have any problems so im thinking it could be indoor allergies. i have no pets and no one smokes inside and i dust all the time so i have no idea what it could be. dont have any advice but to just hang in there. if you find something that works... lemme in on it.
I was having these same sort of symptoms that I thought was allergies about 3 or 4 weeks ago. However, I think I may have just come down with something because my girlfriend got sick too. Her symptoms were a little different though. But I have been noticing something that I think is a completely new allergy that I am having. At first I thought I got into some plant and it made me itch, but then I realized it only happened when I was outside. Like a random spot on my body, generally legs or arms, would start itching really bad and kind of be inflammed a little bit. Then after I scratched it enough it would go away, but it only seemed to go away until after I had scratched it so much that I was bleeding a little bit. Anyhow, I just use that to illustrate how much it was making me itch. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but I am a long time allergy sufferer and I have never had an allergy like that.
the worst is allergies paired with asthma.I got that and I don't wish it to anybody! the worst part is I'm not "officialy" asthmatic,so I don't get any medecine. ALA
I have allergies and Asthma. I have an inhaler, but it doesn't help much. Thank God my Asthma isn't too bad. When it gets really humid outside (like it's been all week) I feel like I'm suffocating. This combination isn't so good for a football player, but I got used to it.
Supposedly I'm allergic to grass and dirt, but I've never noticed one ioda of evidence to suggest that. In DC people seem to aquire allergies although I'm not quite sure if that possible. But it does seem to happen.
All the smoke from Central America might have alot to do with your allergies. Air quality really affects my allergies, or better said they become more noticable. The Ozone Watch days in the summer are also bad.
wtf?! Ya'll are in bad shape. Guess cuz I've lived in Houston nearly all my life I'm not having any problems. Lungs must be used to the crap in the air.
