T_J, there were 9 OFs on the NL All-Star team last year, 8 in 2002, 9 in 2001. If he continues playing at something reasonably close to this level, there's no way that Biggio won't make the team, especially with the game in Houston.
Biggio leads the Astros in AVG .339 Hits 42 2B 11 TB 74 HR 7 SLG .588 how can the leading hitter on the best team in the NL not make the team? seriously, he is tied with Bonds, Griffey, and Dunn (for 17th in NL) in RBI, this all from our leadoff guy!
