I would also give Cassell the nod in the East over Morning, Rahim and Ray Allen. and if not Cassell, I would also have liked to see Andre Miller

Wow what a travesty. Karl Malone, that really hurts deep down inside. That they could have snubbed Rasheed Wallace who has been having a much better year then Malone. And just for good knowlodge hes much better then Elton Brand, the man with the arrray of moves. That was a joke he has one move, he drives to the middle and throws it up with one hand. I mean Wally is an oky player and all but in no way does he deserve to be on the all star team but what can I say the coaches probably did it based on numbers alone because thats the only way he looks good. I would leave to see him without Garnett, I mean he would still do okay but his numbers would go down in every way imaginable, well except or shot attempts. I wonder if anyone has made this comparison but to me it seems like that Wally is just a white version of Michael Finley. Which means he lacks athleticism and handles, who knows maybe he is just a really smart guy.

For those of you who want to make the "well, Francis has been injured too" argument, the KIngs have been fine without Webber.

Nick's trade demand hurt his reputation around the league.

It's gonna be quite a scene to see Iverson, Mutombo, and Jordan wrestle over the ball. Check that, Antoine Walker is playing as well.

Agree with all the picks pretty much in the West. But the East????
Mourning was picked basically imho for sympathy reasons because people say he may retire soon. His #'s suck compared to all the other deserving players.

So many deserved it more: Andre Miller, Baron Davis, Jerry Stackhouse!

And I don't want to hear the excuse that they needed another center and had too many guards. The west only has 1 true center while the East has 3.

Nowitski is a Center. He's played more 5 this year than 4. Either Mourning was the designated reserve center or J. O'neal was. Personally, I think Andre Miller should have made it and Abdur-Rahim should have been left out. The Hawks are not a good team at all....and when they play well, it is b/c Terry steps it up. Rahim is consistent in boards and points, but he is not clutch, turns it over a lot, and cannot carry one of the worst teams in the NBA. He is in my opinion, overrated big-time.

That's what Vancouver thought, anyway. Now they have Pau Gasol and Lorenzen Wright, instead.
