1. Joe Torre and Bob Brenly you should have rationed your pitching better than you did. 2. Vicente Padilla and Freddy Garcia are both capable of pitching more than 3 innings. Take one on the chin for the GAME. The game of baseball itself is more important than one missed spot in the rotation. 3. No MVP? At the very least, try to make it a light moment by having the players clowing around or something. At a bare minimum, have the players available to defend the decision. 4. Bud Selig making a run for the locker room? COWARD. Face the music, old man. You are so out of touch with public perception it is laughable. Perhaps that is why your sport is on the brink of disaster. 5. BE CREATIVE. Think of something to salvage the experience. Ask for volunteers to pitch, have a home run derby to decide the winner, DO ANYTHING but walk off the field to a chorus of boo's. The game was truly a metaphor for the season as a whole. Players walking off the field, fans booing, owners hiding, fans booing some more, players being selfish
