Last Monday I stayed up until 8 am to finish my Con Law II outline and then sleep from 8-12. I have been confused about the date ever since. It misses with your internal clock. I keep thinking its 2 to 3 days earlier than it really is.

I'm currently in the midst of an all-nighter, myself. Not a big deal to me really given that i'm a night owl by nature.

Coffee and adrenaline become your best friends in these situations. Especially if you work best with deadlines approaching and your backs to the wall.

Yes, procrastination sucks, but whether it's work or school, I can't get anything done until I feel the pressure of a looming deadline. I look at all-nighters as more of a challenge than anything else. Either you come through in the clutch like Robert Horry and Vernon Maxwell or you choke like John Starks and Nick Anderson. It really is amazing what you can accomplish when you have no choice but to do so. It's like you're in the zone or something. I've done my best work during all-nighters. Takes some no doz and just focus on the task at hand. Stay away from distractions (like surfing the net), because, at this point, every second counts. Let us know if you become a part of clutch city of choke city. Good luck Hamza, my man.

haha I agree with all of you. I seem to work so much better when I'm cornered and have to do this stuff. I can't actually find a reason to do half of it unless the deadline is looming near. Looks like I'm about to come through though!

I just finished reviewing for the two finals i have tomorrow (seriously why did my school schedule two finals on the same frickin' day) and now i can sleep for 2 hours and a little bit more before i have to go to my first exam.

    finals ftl indeed.

i'm glad i'm not the only major procrastinator here. everytime i pull one of these all or semi nighters i always vow to myself to start getting things done earlier, but i just can't seem to start on things without the deadline looming close.

I'm on the tail end of an all nigher as I type. I'm currently finishing up a take home exam for my Constitutional Law course. Can't wait to finish, turn this bad boy in, and hit the sack. After I wake up, I plan on spending all night playing poker. Thursday I plan on beginning to study for my Products Liability exam.

CAN'T WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS BREAK!!! (unfortunately, this is my last X-Mas break. After four years of undergrad and four years of law school, it's scary to think what the real world will be like.)

All-nighters are counterproductive unless it is a deadline/project.

If you're studying, gotta let the jell-o sit in the fridge for a while.
