Do you guys know any great web sites that sell cheap airline tickets online? Is priceline any good? I'm going to Melbourne Australia in July and I'm not sure which sites have the best airline deals...pleaaaaase help me out... I don't even know how much would it cost to fly to ausralia...1-2k maybe? ------------------
the problems with priceline are: 1. you can't refund or change anything 2. you don't get frequent flyer miles 3. you can't choose the time of day the flight leaves (you must agree to leave from 6am to 10pm) if those aren't a problem then they can get good fares. I got an American Airline roundtrip from Hou to Miami for $150 with priceline. the only problem was we couldn't make the return trip so we had to get another flight on SWA (which sucks big time!) I'd guess a flight to Australia this time of year would cost $900-$1k. You probably wouldn't want to miss out on the mileage though with a trip that far.
