Why would Vince be called "Air Houston"? For the entire time in Toronto he was called "Air Canada". Shouldn't he be named "Air USA" or "Air America" instead?
VC has missed the greater part of 2 seasons from injuries. I wouldn't mind having him on the team, but I'd have the team doctors look at him extensively before entering into any trade situations. You have to remember, Grant Hill was a GREAT star for the Pistons before getting injured, and he never really has returned to form. I wouldn't want a shell of VC; it'd be like having Rice, without the 3pters.
naw, he wouldnt give up the spotlight any when hakeem played for them even though hakeem wasnt in his prime i still think he could have been more involved. The whole concept just would not work with steve and yao.
You either took that from Bill Simmon's article, or y'all think the same. I'm still undecided on Carter. I think it's more accurate to label his career as injury plagued and inconsistent rather than gutless and soft. I'm sure there are plenty of games where he went soft, especially while injured. But I also remember a bunch of games when he took over like only a legitimate superstar can do. I think his future is yet to be determined. He could bounce back from his recent underachieving and become a hall-of-famer or he could become Grant Hill. So that being said, I'd trade anyone not named Francis or Yao for him, but I don't think Toronto is no where near ready to pack it in on Vinsanity yet, unless they get a legit superstar or guaranteed-soon-to-be superstar in return.
lets say vinsanity returned to old form next season, would u guys consider this trade steve francis cat mobley and a future no1 to the raptors for carter and alvin williams.
vince carter is a very good player when he's healthy.....actually...hes better than most sg/sf when he's healthy, in my opinion
