Hey guys, Is there any way to change the script to make the aol instant messenger profiles unlimited length? I remember with previous versions there was this code which I had to change in the program files which allowed me to do this. Is it possible to have an unlimited profile length with the new versions of AIM? I really dont want to use those sites, which just have a link on which you have to click on to read the extra profile. I use AIM version 5.2.3281 Any help is appreciated.
I was always wondering that too, but I haven't seen anybody with unlimited profiles. I heard about it one time where you have to pay a small fee. If you have dead aim version 4.1, you can do some pretty neat thangs on there like having an away messege and still type at the same time.
There are AIM add-on softwares that basically setup a simple web server on your computer, and redirect your profile to a webpage on the server. So you can put whatever you want on there, but that could make viewing other people's profile an dangerous act since you can put harmful java scripts in that web file.
