    Artest and A.I

Make it happen Morey, the best the Rockets could do is look like last year's nuggets. Artest and A.I are our way to go, 2 ballhogs.

AI is less of a ballhog than Tracy and Ron......
    By far...

    By far?

Artest perhaps, but McGrady is nowhere near the ballhog Iverson is. Come on I know you're not fond of Tracy (no one here is) but let's not get facts mixed up. McGrady is a ballstopper, not a ballhog.

    Allen Iverson career stats-
*27 points per game on 43%
    *6.3 assists
    *22 shot attempts per game
    *9 FTA per game

    Tracy Mcgrady career stats-
*22 points per game on 44%
    *4.7 assists
    *18 shot attempts per game
    *6 FTA per game

Morey should at the very least consider this...
It is worth a try, and if it does not work out we will have
2 expiring contracts and a boat load of money next year..........

    Who are the upcoming FA's?

    No no no. Why?

T-Mac does whatever the team needs, he has no problem with passing the ball, and being 2nd option on ofense. He knows he doesn't haveto score.

You see what is happening in Detroit right now? Of course Iverson is a good passer but he CAN'T change his game. He is used to attempt 22+ shot attempts per game and playing over 40 minutes.

He will not change. He needs the ball in his hands all the time and he needs to SHOOT. It wouldn't work with Yao on the team.

No, he got there as a ballhog on a great defensive team that benefited from playing in an era when the Eastern conference was the weakest it has ever been.

Come on, SG and PG? Are you telling me McGrady needs to have more assists than A.I to prove he is not a ballhog?

    AI is a SG.
If AI is a ballhog, than so is Tracy.

The stats are comparable in that way.

All the years I have watched Allen, I have never seen him not pass to
an open shooter...He is very unselfish...

You got to ask yourself. Do I get a higher percentage shot having Sheed work in the post, and Rip coming off a screen, or A.I. dribbling and taking an off balanced shot at a 39% clip?

I will take AI attacking the basket and getting to the FT line like he
    has his entire career...

btw, before this year, he had 3 straight years of shooting 45+ percent from the field....

Did you watch the game last night? Near the end the pistons were down by about 5 or 6 and Iverson has the ball on a fast break with Rip open for three in the corner. Iverson instead takes it inside where there are two defenders and produces nothing. I barely watch Iverson play and that was one of the first things I see happen with him.

Regardless of how good you think Allen Iverson is, it's still a dumb idea to ask him to just fit into what they're doing over there. It's like bringing Yao to the Sixers and asking him to run the floor and space the court with his mid-range jumpshot.

If you're going to decide what you have isn't working and you want to shake things up then follow through with it. Why get a guy who's an attacking spark offensively and then keep the same slow down offense and ask him to space the floor. That's stupid. You're not maximizing personnel. Everyone else is much more capable of spacing the floor and spotting up than Iverson.
