Last year this year again and again. We come down to the same place.
Our guards are not big enough, we expect Tmac to do it all, We do not have enough offensive players or somehow they never make it on the floor at the right time. I propose this. next game Houston plays whether it be a playoff game or next seasons opener, we start the best, most talented players we have. We play our talent. We give players with a future a chance. We evaluate whether Tmac will ever play on a winning team.
I saw promise in a few games, Brooks has a future. Novack gets his chance his shot is not there. Get a big brusing mean power forward who leads the league in technical fouls, rough aggressive play. Personally I dont want to see this team again. Wonder if during the famious streak other teams were pacing themselves so they would not be exausted for the playoffs.
The Texans are building slowly very slowly but each year they add something, eat their mistakes and move on.

I really don't think that winning 22 games straight exhausted our players, no way they're not dead anyway, they rest at home, play with their kids, enjoy, they releax, dunno but you really can't be so exhausted, if they lost the 13th game for example and won the next 9 you wouldn't be saying this.

But you have to say that this season has been great, a lot of hapiness, pain, frustration but in the end, from fan stand of view it is much more interesting than the 06-07 one.

But...injuries stroke again, Yao went out and really after that things are much on a lower level, I personally would have been surprised if Rockets pass the Jazz team, they have the dominant low post presence and don't have any problems with big men, Rockets big man.

There's nothing but to wait another season, last year I tought we should have passed but we didn't, instead we got another "chance" but how much is it a chance without Yao?

You waited 5 years to post about them losing in a playoff series without Yao Ming?

We need a legit sg now. Luther isn't cutting it and we can't keep trying to go small all the time. This will be a big offseason (once we get there).

man, i'm glad i'm going to two different countries during the summer. may make the time go faster, then i only have to wait august, september, and october. but by then, our main trades should have finsihed... hopefully...

i'm waiting for a mike miller, maggate, artest, lowry, conley, or some kind of trade that is a sure plus.

but then again, we could just win the next 3.

Take a superstar player, who is either the best player or the 2nd best player off any team, and you're going to have a tough time playing against a very solid, full strength team in the playoffs.

Would you be saying this right now if Yao was playing? I doubt it, because we would not be down 3-1.
