Addition Possible

    not sure if anyone's posted this already or not, but i found it rather interesting. this was in the chronicle under "Rocket's Summary"

    "With Hakeem Olajuwon likely to be out for an extended period and the Rockets' other centers also battling injuries, the team could look to make a roster move.
    Backup center Kelvin Cato is playing with two sprained ankles and has been unable to practice. Tony Massenburg is out with a strained groin, likely for at least the remainder of the road trip. Thomas Hamilton , out with a back strain, is not able to come off the injured list for one more game.
    Down to just 9 players able to practice, the Rockets could add Hamilton to the roster this week. If Massenburg and Olajuwon are out for an extended period, they might also look for another big man to add depth inside.
    There are no 10-day contracts until Jan.10. Players can be signed to a 'make-good' contract, in which they would have the rest of the season guaranteed if they remain on the roster after Jan.10."
