it's pretty bizarre, but the rockets don't really have anyone under 7'5" who finishes above the rim... i'm not talking about breakaways, i'm talking finishing with a dunk in the half court.. i don't think I've seen TMac finish a drive with a dunk this year ... same goes for Battier, Snyder, Head, Howard, basically the whole rotation!! of course it's not important to finish with a dunk, but I do find it strange ESPECIALLY b/c we could have used a dunk or a putback in the 4th quarter to get the intensity back up against the spurs... there were alot of second and third missed attempts .. there were some weak drives and some erratic behavior.. once we got out of rhythm i was thinking "Tmac just go baseline and dunk it to get the crowd back in " but it didn't happen, just 4-5 missed jumpers and a couple of back looking drives ... forget dunks, sometimes I think we lack finishers in general, but that's a different story... can someone remind me of the last few in-game dunks our guys had?
who dunked for the spurs tonight? t-mac can do it and snyder is pretty agressive at trying to dunk in the half court. it ultimately doesn't matter.
SNyder has had a few....Wells had a weak dunk... (was that preseason?).... Who cares about dunks....we need wins..
ultimately only wins matter, but I think you can set the tone, re-instill confidence, and energize the crowd with an aggressive dunk ... it's also a more high percentage shot compared to those blown layups we had tonight (yes i know they were being extra physical)... as for the spurs, elson had two or three, horry had one late in the game ... i don't think that hurt their morale much ...
