    This is just a rehash of the Chron article being discussed elsewhere. It says that Yao Ming signing the contract now appears to be inevitable, and only a question of time. It quotes from the Chron, and has a translation of Goldberg's comments from the Chron.

    No new information from the China side.

    I saw on channel 13 a news story about Yao and it had the rockets attorney (goldberg i think) saying yao will be here garuanteed Oct 15

    who else is gonna buy a cake that says "we got ming" on it when he signs?


    i did that for steve and look how he turned out. i didnt do that when we signed shandon anderson, but i did have cake for griff.

    and fittingly for moT i had cookies.


    so please, when ming signsget a small cake with the words "we got ming" on it.
