What bull****. That may have been a field goal according to the replay, but that's got to be the longest second I've ever seen in my entire life. I almost counted to three in the time that clock said 0:01.
what was OSU thinking running on that play anyways? Stupid choice. Even if it was a broken pass play, just throw it away and stop the freakin' clock! maybe it was the longest second b/c you counted to three during the slow motion replay? field goal was good. musberger was funny... it looked like he forgot the rules and thought the ball had to be kicked before time expired, rather than snapped.
Nah, I said that during the play. That clock held at one for an awful long time. I agreed on the play... I was ready to celebrate when I saw Krenzel taking off, you knew there was no way he was getting into the end zone.
What a freaking boring game. At least Purdue is winning. Fiesta Bowl or not, I hope we don't end up playing OSU in a bowl game. Talk about a matchup of two underachieveing offenses.

OSU does not, I repeat does not belong in the NC race. This team would get smashed by OU, Miami or Texas.
God, please let Miami and OU lose. I guarantee you, Texas would destroy OSU by about 30, by a conservative estimate. This has to be one of the most overrated teams in college football history... I don't even know if they would beat Bowling Green. They have to have all the luck in the world to survive a bad Purdue team. In fact, Jenkins gave a great little pushoff on that touchdown. Amen cat, I have seen OSU twice, with and without clarett. They are maybe a top 5 team at best. And maurice clarett is one of the most overrated college football players, he is physical, nothing more. Their hardest road game: at a 1-4 big ten Wisconsin, their combined schedule record coming into this weekend: 55-56. And they got WSU, Michigan, Minnesota, PSU, at home while avoiding Iowa. This team defines one word: FRAUD
depends on which Greg Davis shows up. OSU can dominte the offensive and defensive line. that is their strength. if the davis of the past 2 weeks draws up the game plan, we can run wild over OSU... but if the conservative davis rears his ugly head, the game will be as nasty as today's slow, punt-after-punt, game.
The UT game isn't on up here, so I've only been following the score. I know they took margin of victory out of the formula, but I would think Mack would know Iowa has already put up 62 on a Northwestern team that's arguably better or at least better than Baylor. Has Mock been playing the whole 2nd half, or are we back to run, run, run, punt? If I'm an AP voter who's not biased towards UT, I'm comparing Iowa's 62 to UT's 34, and I might vote Iowa #4 right behind an Ohio State team that they could probably beat if given the chance.
