Not just bashed them, but placed all the blame on Barkley for a play earlier that was totally irrelevant. What mattered was he turned it over at worst time, and blamed it on our best player of the series. That incident pisses me off more than any sport related issue except everything having to do with Karla Malone. Pippen wasn't even good in the year he was with us.

I remember an inteview with Dirk Nowitzki on german TV. Dirk was asked about his role models when he was younger and started playing basketball. He said that he always admired Scottie Pippen because he was such a terrific player and seemed like a class act.

Later Dirk got drafted by the Mavs and he had the chance to play against his idol. He got to know Pippen and his opinion changed. Humble Dirk, who never says anything negative about anybody, said after he met him he just thought that Pippen is such an arrogant ***hole, he would never have imagined. LOL

Pippen is a thing of the past. He's no more relevant than Barkley kissing an ass. The Rockets are in a new era, and shouldn't be triffled with turncoat pansy trash.

i remember when dallas played Portland some years ago. pippen was upset because Finley was an all-star and he was not. this was the year before the big dallas year. he said that is was pathetic that a player like finley(a pretty good player on a terrible team, getting good numbers) was an all star and he was not. I believe the quote was "if they want me to score 20 points i will do that". the next dallas Portland game Dallas destroyed Portland, and finley had a great game:D

pippen couldn´t do a thing last year in chicago, why do you guys think he could help the rockets this year?

btw: he hasn´t played for the knicks so chances are pretty slim.... :)

    all i saw was

    From Tuesday's Chronicle:

    "**** Scottie Pippen ***** ***** ***** ***** *****, ******Rockets ***** adding *******veteran ** ***** roster."
    :D:D:D

seriously, i think we all see that this is never going to happen, because it is not even a rumor, people saw him in houston, that was about it.

i met pippen outside of the summit after a game several years back and i have to say that he was the most rude and arrogant player that i had ever met.

also, anyone catch what air bull had to say about the guy??? i see why he's such a prick.

But, wasn't it pippen who accurately assessed the team and its needs. The whole board launched at him, but looking back, he was spot on if I am not mistaken.

    Pippen can go eat it.

Where are these people from who don't mind him being added? Maybe you're like 12 years old now. Or just "became" a Rockets fan. Otherwise you have no excuse.

--to add to that comment about another player liking him...CAT also said Pippen was oen of his better friends, a guy he looked up to, and a role model for him. A guy he wanted to be like. This was AFTER pip was gone. ugh

Can the JVG era get any wierder? Pippen in H-Town again? The only thing that could be worse is if Karla became a Rocket.

Even if he puts on our jersey again, I'll continue to boo him anytime I'm at the game and he's on the court.
