    I used Orlando as an example simply because there's a team that was completely gutted and still had a decent year for the talent they had (what little they had of it). Of course they didn't make the playoffs, but that's not the point. I used it as an example because obviously having stud talent at every position isn't a requirement to winning championships, and if Orlando can do what they did with what they had, it isn't tons of talent that wins games.

    Newguy - Alexander and Thomas are draftees just like ours. They are unproven in the NBA. There is a long list of first round busts. Their comment about Trent coming back isn't anything I would count on. He only played 11 games last year and barely half of the games the previous 2 years. Why would anyone think he will be any different this year from his previous 3 years. Their coaching staff is likely to have the team and management in turmoil before the all-star break. You have an owner that thought it was a good idea to bring in Rodman and let him live in his guest house. You have a father and son act that I wouldn't give 2 cents for. Their only chance would be to get out of Del Harris' way and let him try and coach the team and that is not going to happen. I like our chances better than theirs over the next couple of years.
