It pisses me off when immensely everytime I hear someone say "Shang-hai shake." I know Bill Worrell is notorious for using it, bless his heart. The "Dream Shake" was not just a fadaway jumper! I consisted of an actual SHAKE! A lightning quick SHAKE! Please let us not diminish the memories of the "Dream Shake" to a fadaway jumper! bob718 was gracious enough to post a link to a vid that everyone that uses the term "Shang-hai shake" must see. About 2 minutes and 50 secs into the video is a decent clip of a "Dream Shake." Most shakes lasted longer, but this will do. Look at it and understand that most people in the league, and especially slow people like Yao can not execute this move. P.S. - This is not a Yao Bashing Thread. Agreed. None of Yao's moves are anything like it. I am always amazed at how quick and agile Hakeem was when I see those old clips. I took it too much for granted back then.
