For all those who caught the game last night and saw the pregame show. When the Rockets roster was being announced and all the players and coaches escorted season ticket holders on the court and gave them a (jersey?)...did anyone see Francis. When he was announced, he ran up to the guy he was escorting, gave him the (jersey?) and ran off. He didnt shake the guy's hand, and barely seemed to acknowledge his presence. I just though it was a little weird. If I was that guy i would be like......."ok?" I guess it could be attribute it to adrenaline (since it was the first game), but come on!

Yeah I saw that and i must say I found it a little disconcerting as well. Mobes was all over his fan - arm around the shoulder an all.

I noticed it too. I hope it was just being nervous because of opening night. I think they do this ceremony alot so, let's wait and see how he does in the future. Props to Cat and also Los for his silly fun handshake with the kid.

Who cares? I mean, the guy got a shirt from Francis. Sure, a handshake would have been a bonus I guess. Francis came out for the introductions just like he did the game: too excited, pumped up and over emotional. He probably didn't even realize the guy was there.

EXACTLY! Oh my god am I glad you people noticed that. I hope Francis is not getting too conceited because this incident happened one day after he refused to sign autograph's for a crowd of 12 people at the Westside Tennis Club! I was there and he just shook hands with the guys he knew and looked at us with our pens and paper and left to go to the lockerroom.

Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!

And, it wasn't a jersey, it was a Rockets Shooting Shirt.

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this.I was disapointed that Steve just kind of brushed him off, especially after the way Mobley and Bull seemed very gracious.I`ll chalk it up Steve being pumped up and not realizing that this was a "big event" for the bearer of the shirt.
