noup, before draft he discussed somewhere, how he can more play and want more play. he was in workout somewhere and comments were, that he is not in playing shape yet.
i would love have 7'1'' guy with 7'8'' wingspan next to Yao in middle. and we could get him cheap.
and i find this article: from ESPN

A 7'1'' guy with 7'8'' wingspan if only he can play semi-decent would never get undrafted.

Feel bad for the guy. It's because of things like this that guys want to go pro as underclassmen. If Marcus came out in 2001, he would've been picked #10-15, and made millions. Here's my general rule:

    1. If you're in college, and guaranteed top-15 pick, go pro.
    2. If you're in high school, and guaranteed 1st round, go pro.

Marcus has been injured which is why he was undrafted.

He would have been a top 15 pick 2 years ago.

He would be worth the risk for a team that didn't have a backup C. In fact, he would be a very solid replacement for Jason Collier. As a third C till he heals, it would be worth the risk.

Yeah, i agree. Really , i think if your injured and you get healthy long enough to get drafted, then take money and run like Borchardt. Marcus was a 1st rd pick last yr, not doubt and should have stayed in the lotto. Perkins went in the 1st rd so it was a good decision also. What made no sense was Ebi to Minny. Unless they plan on signing or trading someone, how does this help them get out of the 1st rd?
