wade gambles a lot. you will see him on rondo as the game goes on. miller or james jones should be on allen.

and wade makes it so easy for boston to guard him. take the damn midrange; but he stinks at it this year.

how shocking. the celtics look like **** on offense for a month and a half straight, having trouble cracking 90 on a nightly basis, so of course against miami they've hit 8 of 9 (the only miss being their only layup) and garnett has hit his only 3 of the entire season.

Wade and Lebron gotta stop passing while in the air, it's so turnover prone.

Miami getting in the paint has kept this game close early.

this is why lebron should get more props for MVP. he's at the 4 now guarding glen davis. and i'm sure you'll see him on KG and rondo too later in teh game.

Unless he's going against an elite offensive player, that's it in a nutshell. It allows him to create havoc and steals elsewhere. But against Ray Allen (who isn't "fun" to guard) it hurts. Chasing a guy like him constantly in motion, running off screens gets tiresome. Wade either needs to snap to it or the Heat should put him on Rondo.

excellent point. it's been known that the hardest guys to guard aren't lebron or kobe or wade, but guys like ray allen and richard hamilton.

wade is a great individual defender, but he lacks the discipline to stay with a guy who uses screens constantly.

that is horse****. the miami heat are the only team in history i have ever seen called for that leg kickout offensive foul. literally, no hyperbole, i've never seen it called in a game in about 20+ years of watching basketball except against miami this season. 2 on chalmers and 1 on jones now. and that jones call was nothing compared to what we've seen over the years that not only weren't offensive fouls but were actually defensive fouls. i really don't get it.

I didn't see anything wrong with that call.

His legs were literally kicking to the side. It makes sense if your legs were flairing forward, but not to the side.

except how many times have you seen someone do that and draw a foul? and how many times have you ever seen it called an offensive foul? would i be right in assuming 0 to the latter question?

Mark Jackson has no clue what he's talking about with his comments on Jeff Green at OKC.

To be honest, I have never seen somebody kick their legs to the side in the first place.

So I guess it would be up to the officials.

If he kicked his legs forward and they called that an offensive foul, then I would agree with you.

But I have never seen somebody kick it to the side.

I've seen it called several times this season. That leg-kick move has gotten out of control. Too many players are doing it and the refs are finally reacting.

james jones does that ALL the time; and it's dangerous.

hopefully they start calling it more to cut that part of the game out.

and to your question, i think i have seen it called twice this year. forgot when, but it's very rare.
