Wow!! I got home from Universtiy friday and my dad had his new silver 350Z on the driveway. the best part was that he didnt order it. long story short, the guy that ordered it had his financing fall through while my dad was at the dealership so the salesman offered it to him. damn that is a sweet car
Since this thread is on the top anyways, I thought I'd post my pics in this thread, instead of bringing up the old one. For anyone who is interested, the pics can be viewed at: http://www.mburney.com/index1.php?album=350Z Take care, --rockit
I got an order in for the 350z track version. Im trading in my RSX type S. the 330ci loaded is a nice car, but I can't see spending 44K on a 330 bmw
I got the Touring model with everything except the spoiler "aerodynamic package" ... I like the car better without it. The nav system simply rocks ... its my first car with one, and I've nearly gotten into 3 accidents because of it. It has these lil icons for gas stations, hotels/restaurants, colleges etc. and I have so much fun looking at those, its like 'ooooooooooh coool, it knows where my college is!!!' Ok, anyways. The sound system leaves MUCH to be desired for. It has the stupid auto volume control thing, and all it does is increase the bass randomly, esp on low volume. You're sitting there listening to the radio and then you get to a light, and then BAM! the car starts thumping cuz the bass just goes thru the roof. On loud volumes tho, it is quite good, especially the CD player. It is also VERY roomy and doesn't feel like you're sitting in a small car. You have ample room to move the seats back and forth without any difficulty. The new convertible model comes out Feb 2003, if anyone is looking for a car around then, I would HIGHLY recommend it, you won't be disappointed. --rockit
Hey Rezdawg, Probably But I didn't want to have to drive a MT during rush hour traffic 40 miles each way in DC. It's bad enough as it is ... today it took me 1.75 hrs to get to work and 2.5 hrs to get back home, cuz it was raining, and then doing manual in that is a pain, so I traded some of the performance for comfort. --rockit
Rockit, Good reason. Im going to go look at 350Z's this weekend. The more I see them, the more I become interested.
This brings back the Memories. I had a 1991 300ZX in High School!! I graduated in 1994. That thing was the S$%T back then. It was before any other real Jap. sports cars. Ah the memories. Even with those models, I never had a problem and had it for five years.
This week, I'm enamored with Ford's new SVT Cobra. Every week, I want something different-- do they lease cars on a 7-day basis...?
rezdawg, Go for it ... you'll love it. Very nice car, and the fact that it is so new makes it that much more fun to drive around. --rockit
