The rick perry thread in the D&D got me thinking about great rock and role voices. who would you say are the thee best rock tenors? not just great singers, but great voices too. 1- Steve Perry 2- Marty Balin 3- tougher, but because i always loved the group, John Schlitt of Head East.
Steve Perry is a tenor? I think he needs his own category. How about.... Tenor who has been kicked in the balls by an NFL placekicker!
well, they've got to be able to make that rock star face, that mixture of pleasure and pain that makes it look like they're masturbating with steel wool.
Rob Halford, although he might be a countertenor Another good one is Lou Gramm of Foreigner. I'll keep the 3rd spot open until I can think of a really good one.
Take it from a per-fesh-un-ul..... Anybody can make that face. All it takes is the right combination of, ahem, performance enhancement medications! masturbating with steel wool? OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah, if halford got back together w/ Judas Priest, would it be a marriage of convenience, or an un-civil union? what about Ian Gillan?
Does he still count as a tenor? Maybe instead (no offense) alto... soprano... or tenor wearing extremely tight pants...
