Judging from this. Lutherhead is good all around the arc. His lowest percentage is 35.2%, which is still good for 3pt shooting. Battier is pretty good, but not quite as high as luther. The top of the key is the biggest difference between these two. Battier makes only 33.3%, while Head makes 42.2%.

i see that some of you put kirk snyder in a low position but do yall notice that

everytime they pass the snyder he makes them? i mean, i am not worried about snyder's 3 pt shot...it looks ugyl but hey he makes them

now lets train yao to be a 3 pt shooter XD

During the game the best is Luther. But if we are down by 3 with 10 seconds left in the game this is my list:

    1) Tmac
    2) Head
    3) Rafer
    4) Shane

I would not trust anyone below that.

Gotta move Shane ahead of Rafer and maybe even T-Mac if it is a apot-up (no way if its a create your own shot stuation) given the late threes he has hit.

snyder has been shooting great from 3s recently i definitely feel more comfortable with him shooting 3s than rafer.

yao is probably the team's best pure shooter outside of novak. if he had free reign to jack up 3s, you can bet he'd be hitting them at a very high clip. of course, its probably not the best way to use him, but it wouldn't hurt to have him step out and pop it once in awhile (like brad miller or rasheed wallace). his % doesn't show it, and he'd probably airball his first 10 attempts, but once he got used to it i bet he'd knock it down with as much consistency as he now knocks down his 10-15 foot fadeaways (which were never as money as they are now).

By the way, there's a "new" video of Rafer interviewing some of the Astros at Minute Maid Park on the Rockets website. It's pretty funny. He actually did the interviews before the All-Star Game last season.

T-mac, head, shane then rafer. t-mac makes his 3 when guarded closely, others make open shots.

I'll go with Luther. His 3pt shot looks so effortless.

Novak not having a chance to shoot the 3 shouldn't be a JVG bashing thread. It should be a thread praising him. Why the heck should Novak ever be in.
