Started watching it maybe around a week ago. I've almost finished season 1. What a masterpiece this show is.

Get ready to binge many nights away, my friend. I don't even think Season 1 is close to the best; it's probably Seasons 3-5.

I've never seen as addicting a show as 24. The first season of Lost was close, but subsequent seasons couldn't keep up like 24's do.

The experience of watching the first season of 24 is like nothing in the history of television. Just very special.

It liked it a lot but quit watching after season 4. For me, none of the others quite recaptured the rush of that initial thrill ride.

The last season with Jack was probably my favorite, not because it was the best written or anything like that, but that series revival came out of nowhere. Love 24, gonna miss my boy JB and I'm not talking about Bickerstaff.

Oh yeah, probably the first show I was hooked on. I've binge-re-watched this show twice too. Man, I could do it again...

I had to Google it, but apparently only Amazon Prime is the only place to stream as of April 2014.

I'm rewatching, too. I just finished Season 2

Mr Robot fans will get a thrill around hour 22 in Season 2.

24 is ideological right wing drivel. I can't understand how anyone enjoys that show.

    So is James Bond

That said, Season 2 is about Jack saving the world from the corrupt Oil Industry.

    I miss this show :(

Season one of the lower quality seasons too. Seasons 2, 3, 5 so perfect.

I don't think the two are comparable beyond the action hero givens.

In Season 2 Jack threatens to murder a terrorist's family and then fakes an execution of his son. I can't think of a Bond film where he takes such villainous tactics.

Lol, I missed this thread, but that's such a joke. The whole episode(s) could be dedicated to driving/traffic. Haha, "Oh, you're 20 miles away? I'll be there in 3 minutes!"

I did watch a lot of 24 though... Hehe, I'd just turn my brain off about that part, I mean traffic ****s everything up.

Yeah, and how does that fit into your "ideological right wing drivel." Jack also worked side-by-side with a Muslim intel officer and helped prove three Islamic states were not guilty.

Oh, and did you happen to notice the President is "a black."

Him not actually killing the kid didn't make his actions moral. The show is propaganda for torture. That makes it a Bush apology and a myth of the conservative patriot.

Working side by side with a Muslim isn't an excuse. Why'd you mention a black president? I don't get it. Sounds alot like the "i have black friends so I can't be racist" as applied to some meaningless 24 characters. Torture never fails in 24 and the hero uses it to save the world. The president condones it. What else could we do? The bomb is going off.

^^^ OK, gotcha. It's the glorification of torture you don't like.
