Put on the coffee & pop your No-Doz, "24" fans are in for a very long treat beginning tonight at 12am tonight. FX will show all 24 episodes of the action packed, conspiracy drama "24".

I'm going to try and catch the first couple shows I missed then watch again late tomorrow evening for the others I missed. Call it a hunch, but I have a feeling we may see these on DVD at some point.

For the record, it is 12 eastern, 11 here. The ads I've seen haven't done a good job in stating that. I can't wait to see the first two episodes... those are the only ones I've missed. I remember one of the episodes I missed was because the Rockets were playing at San Antonio and we scored 24 points in the entire first half. :(

My favorite show ever. No exaggeration.

You definitely heard wrong about Kiefer, though... they have already started filming. Jack resigned from the CTU because of how Teri dying affected him emotionally, but he will be brought back into things when Sen. Palmer learns of a terrorist plot and gives him a call. Kim (Elisha Cuthbert), Palmer (Dennis Haysbert), Tony, Nina, Sherry, and almost all of the main characters except for Teri will be back from season 1. There is some other info I can give you, if you want, but if you don't like spoilers you probably wouldn't want to know.

Damn... I'm sorry about that. I forgot that you hadn't seen the last episode. At least you still have the question of "how" to ponder. :)

I knew nothing about this, but I got lucky and saw at 10:52pm that it was about to start. Awesome! Episode 2 is starting - be quiet! :)

I am pretty excited about Season 2 now. I am very tempted to buy Season 1 on DVD.

Am I the only one who stayed up almost all of Sunday night and spent most of Labor Day watching this? I really liked Dennis Hopper and Lou Diamond Phillips. Great Show. I don't think it is fair that they kept showing all of the "The Shield" season 2 commercials, got me to excited. :)

I taped them, setting my alarm for every six hours so I would remember to change out the tape.

I actually missed several of the early episodes when they originally aired. I didn't start regularly watching the show until about Episode 6 or so.

I missed about the first 6 or 7 also. I didn't have any tapes lying around to record. But I do have all but 2 episodes on my computer so I have seen them all finally.

I never missed an episode during the season. Can't wait for the next!

But now I have to comment about something that's been bothering me. Was it just me, or did the females on that show piss anyone else off! They were all either evil or stupid. If I was a woman I might have even gone as far as calling the show SEXIST!

    ---------------------------------------------------------

    SPOILERZ BELOW

    ---------------------------------------------------------

I mean just look at this:

    1. Teri Bauer - I lost count of all the the stupid things she did. Not to mention her incessant whining cost Jack to lose several precious minutes. At least he's not going to have that holding him back in the next season (...kidding :) )
    2. Kim Bauer - Was she a massochist or what? Why did she keep going back to that Loser Rick who damn near got her killed? She screwed up everything on numerous occasions.
    3. Jamey - Sure, she may have been threatened, but she betrayed Jack and everyone else in CTU. And what do you know...she got herself caught.
    4. Mandy - The chick at the beginning who blew up the airplane. She was hot, but obviously bad.
    5. Alberta Green - she came in to run CTU with her holier-than-thou attitude. Who does she think she is?
    6. Sherry Palmer - Ugh!! The worst and most evil person in the entire show!!!
    7. Elizabeth Nash - The idiot pretty much ruined everything by stabbing Alexis. Yet another emotionally unstable girl on the show.
    8. Patty - Palmer's aide who tries to come onto him at his wife's bidding. How could someone this stupid be an aide to the president? Scary.
    9. Nina/Yelena - The one girl who seems to have it together and she ends up being the most cold-hearted and evil person of them all (well...after Sherry). And do you think she would be smart enough to get away? Of course not.

and I'm sure I'm forgetting some others. Would the makers of 24 have us believe that all women are either stupid or cold-hearted b******? Was I the only one who noticed this? Have I proven that I'm a dork yet? Anyone? :D

    DCKid -

There was the female cop that tried to help Jack but got killed. She was good... But besides that, women did get a raw deal in 24. :)

Good call! Also, Palmer's daughter never really seemed that bad, but then again she barely played a part in the show.

    Oh, and I left out Kim's friend...the slut! :)

As I duck Mrs. JB.......aren't they?

BTW, even though Nina/Yelena was the dirtiest of them all because of her actions as a whole, Sherry Palmer sure was one backstabbing, manipulative biyotch! I absolutely loved it when David Palmer told her he never wanted to see her again then walked away with her trying to follow only to be stopped by the Secret Service.

Season 2 is going to have a hard time living up to the first season in terms of drama and suspense.

Well, I think Nina was supposed to be the exception to this rule, but Fox decided to go with shock value instead of logic. The producers didn't decide on Nina being the mole until about Christmas, when the first six episodes had already been completed and the script up until about noon had already been completed.

There's so many things that don't add up in the Nina is a mole scenario. I understand why Gaines tried to kill her, since he didn't know of her connection to the Drazens. But what explains the following things?

1.) At 11 am, she gives Jack the coordinates and a satelitte image to Gaines compound. For that plan to work, everything had to be right for Jack. If she gives one false image, or something incorrect, Jack likely doesn't make it. Sure, it's not 100%, but it wasn't at the end of the show either when she told Jack Kim was dead.

2.) Why would she not warn the Drazen's that Alexis was walking into a trap, since he is the one designated to kill Palmer?

3.) Why would she promote the possibility of there being a second mole (the guy at the clinic at 1 pm) if she was the one? No matter how good you are, there's always some evidence somewhere. Pointing people in that direction isn't generally bright.

4.) Why does she call Palmer at about 9:30 and tell him that the Drazens are alive? That was an extra step she really didn't need to take. Alerting a possible President that assumed-dead terrorists are alive isn't smart if you are working for their network.

These are just a few examples off the top of my head. Logically, Nina as the mole doesn't make sense. However, out of the major people Jack works with, she easily produces the most shock value. Like I said, at the beginning of the show, she was designated to be the female role model... it was changed midway through to provide a huge twist.
