Click on the details for a tweet, and it will let you choose embed, and just copy and past the embedded code.

For gifs, just find or create your gif. Copy the image location, press the image button on here (looks like 2 mountains with a moon) and paste your image location in there.

There haven't been any real good threads concerning all the various tools you can use within the message board.

Thanks for the gif, my first time seeing Cosart deliver a pitch. Not an expert, but on first blush, that's certainly an interesting leg kick when his left foot initially comes down before extending towards the plate. Anyone with more expertise care to break down his mechanics?

I think the consensus among scouts is that his mechanics are far from clean. In the 2012 Baseball America Prospect Handbook, his delivery is described as "maximum effort" and could lead to durability questions, which in turn would result in him having to move to the bullpen.

In the gif, keep an eye on his right arm after the ball leaves his hand and how violently it recoils.

Keep in mind, that was from 2011, when he first came on board. These next 2 links are a little more recent.

Here's a little more info on the arm action known as the "inverted W."

The part that worries me the most in all of that, is that his delivery offers no deception and allows hitters to see the ball well. That won't hurt him as much in the minors, and certainly won't hurt him as much in spring games where most of the hitters are just going up there to get their work in and swing the bat.

But you get in the big leagues in the regular season, where the hitters have access to all of your pitches on video that has been broken down in whatever way needed, a guy that is not able to have some deception in his delivery will get throttled.

The raw stuff is certainly there

    Delivery reminds me of Oswalt.

I'm already a huge fan of this guy because of Twitter and his snarkiness towards all things Dallas.

After watching him finish off that strikeout and walk off the mound, I also immediately thought of Oswalt

When I look at his delivery, I don't see the extreme stress they're talking about. I can see where the inverted W can potentially be a problem. Without completely changing his mechanics, I don't see how they can fix that, though.

Man, I'm starting to jones for some baseball. Thank G-d my softball league starts back this Sunday. Problem I have here in Austin is that I'm not sure Time Warner is high on the list of priorities for Comcast. In the Houston area, isn't it only out in Beaumont where Time Warner is the standard? I don't see the pressure to get a deal done with TW as I do with the other carriers that make up a majority of the 40% still missing out in Houston.

He did look like Oswalt to me, though I don't like his arm action in that GIF. Hopefully his arm can handle it. If it can't, he'll end up in the pen, which if he excels as a closer, won't be a bad thing.

A scout I know said he is athletic enough that Cosart may never have an issue with his delivery.

    From the MLB.com website:

    B.OUTSIDE THE U.S. AND CANADA
1.Regular Season and Postseason Live Blackout:
    No blackout restrictions apply.

What message do you get when trying to bring up MLB.com?

it just times out. the name resolves just fine (12.30.102.x, right?), but the page never appears. pings also time out, but they may have that blocked. I pretty much go all over the web, on several devices, but can't get anything mlb to come up. sucks.

weird. searched for "mlb" and found the top result returned "mlb.mlb.com/blahblahblah..."

so I typed mlb.mlb.com in the address bar and I'm in. hopefully I can get me some audio now.

    weird.

No wait.... looks like Demel bore the brunt. Humber was decent.

Your premonition about Keuchel was impressive.
