Ugh, Baseball is back. It's about time! Here's to hoping some of our AA-Blow make a big impact in spring training, and more.

I know, not the Springer or Delino, but the player I'll be watching the closest is Matt Dominguez. The guy has a chance to fill a huge whole at third if he can continue swinging the bat the way he did to finish the season. Finished the season with a .284 average, 5 hr's, and 16 RBI's. Would like to see his OBP climb a bit higher, draw a few more walks and less K's, but has some upside at his age, and could be a major steal for Carlos freakin Lee.

Heard today that Chris Carter, last year, hit over .400 with all 16 of his HR on balls that he pulled. Not sure where to find those stats, but that type of stat would certainly make someone a pretty dang good bet in MMP

According to Brian McTaggart, 20 minor leaguers were invited to a mini-camp in advance of the minor league report date.

Hopefully we'll remember that there is a dedicated Spring Training thread next time... #subpost

Seriously, is there a list of rules somewhere that those of us who are relatively new can read? Seriously

    Ha.... just bustin your balls.

    How can I say this....

Generally, during the season, lineup posts will go in series threads.

At this point, any significant news that occurs during spring training will likely get its own thread, so it won't be buried in such a broad thread like this one. That would include trades or significant injuries. Releases of non-roster players would not qualify as such.

Brian T. Smith (@ChronAstros): #Astros' Jarred Cosart struck out Ryan Howard, then walked off without allowing a hit in two innings. Looked good. #Phillies #MLB

Had no idea that Oomberto was with the Phillies now.

Also another bold prediction from me: Robbie Grossman will make the Opening Day roster.

Something about his delivery there reminds me of Oswalt.

I like how the catcher framed the pitch. He even closed his body and made the angle look more appealing for a strike call.
